Happy Anniversary

This weekend George and I celebrated our 33rd Wedding Anniversary (gulp). I'm beginning to think we should really have a half anniversary because yet again we are on different continents.  I'm currently in the USA and on day 4 or 5 of a 2500 mile drive from Jacksonville in FL to San Diego in CA. George is in the UK. Oh well.

I made George this card and posted it to him. It's pretty safe to share here because he very rarely looks at the blog.

There's a bit of fussy cutting going on with the seaweed and the fish. Not all of the seaweed was fussy cut, there are two lots simply stamped in Mint Macaron onto the Designer Series Paper. I also made the sand by simply cutting a wavy line in a piece of Delightful Dijon cardstock.

I kind of cheated on this card because I simply stamped two fish and turned one upside down! I thought I might get away with it, but the fish on the left has it's eye placed lower. Next time I am going to give the Reverse Image Stamping Technique a go.

The Happy Anniversary sentiment (from Teeny Tiny Sentiments) was stamped in Dapper Denim onto a piece of Very Vanilla and then I stamped some bubbles in stamped off Mint Macaron over the top. I matched up the bubbles with those on the card front and adhered the sentiment over the top using Dimensionals.

Fingers crossed that George liked the card. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Global Stampers August 2016 - Christmas Is Coming a few sneak peeks

Sneak peek of the cover of
2016 Autumn/Winter Catalogue

Yesterday I shared the project that I made for this month's Global Stampers blog swap. Today it's the turn of Ann, Alicia, Robbie, and Valérie. If you would like to see more about each project, please click on each photo to go to the appropriate blog.

Ann used the Detailed Santa Thinlits bundle to make this cute card.

The bundle consists of the Greetings from Santa stamp set (11 rubber stamps available in wood or clear mount) and the Detailed Santa Thinlits Dies (4 dies). You  will save 10% by purchasing the bundle instead of the items separately.

Alicia's project is the very cute Tin of Tags Project Kit where she has also used the co-ordinating Tin of Tags stamp set.

As you can see she's made some of the tags into Christmas Cards.

Robbie has used the Merry Tags Framelits Dies to make this really cute card.

The paper is part of the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper - a really cute pack 12' X 12" double sided paper.

Valérie's project was made using Santa's Sleigh stamp set and co-ordinating Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies.

There is also a sneak peek of the Star of Light stamp set on there too.

You can check out each project by clicking on the appropriate picture because I have linked them to the appropriate blog posts.

I'll be posting an electronic version of the catalogue online come 1 September and of course copies will also be going in the post to customers who have purchased products through me in the last 12 months.
